It’s a dark moon again. A moon woven together with Summer sun, with solstice power, with magic that whispers from within the land, reminding us that we are of the stars. 

It’s not always easy to remember that life is full of wonder. When your heart feels so broken by injustices and war. A moonless night can feel like a pointless thing to notice when fascism chokes you, and autocrats fight over power, and life itself is disrespected by world leaders with a thirst for control and a hunger for force. The moon? Now? 

If we forget that we are of the stars, we can softly, ever so gently, remind one another that we are. Because when we remember our cosmic creativity, we can breathe into our capacity to collaborate with creatures and plants, and root into the magic of this planet that has woven us into being with such care and beauty. 

The dark moon howls at us from within the realms of hidden worlds. Words not yet written throb in the void of a moonless night. What you want can be woven into what is from within the unseen and through the seam in the fabric of who you are becoming. 

Today the moon releases the last breath of this lunar cycle, letting go into the great mother. And tomorrow she will birth you into a new lunation. We are in her womb. We might not see all that is possible. The current noisy world full of infantile, imbecile leaders very easily obscures the inspired enchantment that we are made of. Our fears are not unjustified. The bullshit is real. But so is your magic! What will you shape your life into with the unseen threads, hidden in a moonless night?
