The new moon in Aries sings about Spring’s emergence. Aries energy bursts from deep within the dark soil, out into open air, out toward the growing light, stretching the days longer and shrinking the darkness of the night. This new moon is sparked with the impulse of Aries to take us on a fast and furious spin into Spring’s Eros.
We cannot resist the wild sensations that come with Spring’s bloom. The majority of this lunar cycle will be grounded in the sumptuous soil of Taurus, but this first spark of the moon is initiated with Aries, who also initiates a new season, and a new cycle around the wheel of the Zodiac.
With this new moon in Aries we ignite a spark that sends us on a new road, a creative urge that breathes life into the world. It’s a rebirth, baby! And we have Taurus to carry on the process, to give form to the flame, to nourish the life that we snap into being, to give this astrology of new beginnings an earth to stand on.
Flowers, desires, new ideas, and new ways of being blossom as Aries launches us into a passionate swirl of renewal. What do you feel eager to create? What are you enthusiastic about? What excites your body, your mind, your heart, and your art? With Aries you awaken the courage to emerge, to enliven, and to enchant the world with your magic.
Aries symbolism is embodied as the ram; its horns poke the parts of us that feel stagnant, pushing us to get going, even if it feels uncomfortable. It’s the part of us that won’t say no to the opportunity to grow.
If you are dealing with energy that feels stagnant right now, the journey From Stillness To Spark is available and is here to hold space for your process of breathing through stuckness and bringing in Muse as guidance. This is a five session program that weaves together reflection, yoga (asana, pranayama, and meditation), and archetypal, mythic threads. To learn more and sign up go here.
As this lunar cycle unfolds, with the support of Taurus, you can anchor the passion, grow roots that uphold that which emerges, and slow down the pace so that this process of enchantment can become embodied.
What are you starting? How will you ground it?
